Terrain That Inspires
Obed bikes are made for southeast Tennessee. When we started Obed, the goal was to design bikes that could tackle our most ambitious adventures. To ensure they would excel on the most demanding terrain, we tested and refined them on the steep climbs, rugged roads, and technical singletrack found in the southeast mountains. Because Obed bikes are built to perform here, they will perform anywhere in the world.
The Storyteller State
Our mountains are some of the oldest in the world, and they are full of history. Tennessee has always valued those who venture off the beaten path and come back with a story to tell. Bike Tennessee is a statewide cycling initiative featuring professionally curated routes that showcase the small towns, natural landscapes, and hidden gems that can only be found along Tennessee’s backroads.
Local Offerings
Have you visited Obed headquarters? Located in Chattanooga right along the Tennessee River, Obed is happy to host walk-in tours whenever you happen to be in town! Stop by and meet the passionate team designing, painting, and assembling your Obed bike. On the last Wednesday of every month, we host a lunch ride at noon for anyone who wants to ride with us.
