The OBED RVR is our endurance aero road bike, built for riders who want to go fast and far. It combines aerodynamic tube shapes with geometry tuned for comfort and control, making it perfect for long rides and mixed-surface roads.

We offer the RVR in two carbon options:

  • Our RVR uses a high-modulus carbon frame (~1,020g in size M) for the perfect balance of stiffness and compliance.
  • The RVR SLi features a lighter, ultra high-modulus carbon layup (~880g) for riders seeking maximum performance and weight savings.

The RVR fits tires up to 700c x 34mm wide.

We’ve engineered the RVR to be fast and smooth. Aero tubing (like the tapered downtube and sculpted stays) improves airflow, while the carbon layup absorbs vibration. Plus, the RVR fits up to 35mm tires for increased grip and comfort on rougher roads.

We offer a wide range of drivetrain configurations to fit every rider and budget, including:

  • Shimano 105 (mechanical and Di2)
  • SRAM Rival AXS
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2
  • SRAM Force eTap AXS (on RVR SLi builds)

Builds start around $3,100, with premium setups available for those seeking top-tier performance.

We ship our bikes 90% assembled. You only need to install the front wheel, seatpost, and pedals. We include tools, instructions, and clearly labeled cables, so setup is fast and frustration-free—even for first-time bike buyers.

The RVR features endurance geometry. With a slightly taller stack height for a more upright and relaxed riding position, it provides a confident and comfortable fit without sacrificing responsiveness or speed. 

To modify the GVR for external routing, submit a custom component request.

If you're on the border of two sizes, the right size may depend on certain body measurements and your riding style. Feel free to contact us at any time regarding sizing questions - our product specialists are experienced with finding riders the right fit by cross-referencing your information with our fit database.  

If you're not transferring measurements from a similar bike, to get completely "dialed in" for maximum performance, we recommend you see a reputable professional bike fitter that can fit you to your new bike.

While it’s not a gravel bike, the RVR has enough comfort and durability to handle light gravel riding. Your biggest limitation will be tire clearance and your off-road skills.

The RVR comes with tubeless-ready wheels and tires and is shipped set up tubeless with sealant from the factory. 

Yes! The RVR has the aerodynamics, efficiency, handling, and speed to match many of the best road racing bikes.

To mount your OBED bike to a direct drive stationary trainer, follow these steps:

1. Shift into the bike's hardest gear

2. Remove the rear thru axle

3. Remove the rear wheel

4. Place the frame onto the direct drive trainer, ensuring the chain falls onto the cassette and the rear axle dropouts are aligned with the trainer hub end caps.

5. Reinstall the rear thru-axle and tighten.

Notes:

We recommend shifting into the hardest gear before removing the rear wheel to make it easier to remove the rear wheel and position your bike for installation on the trainer.

Mounting a bike to a direct drive trainer is very similar to installing a rear wheel. You may need to swing the rear derailleur back to direct the chain onto the cassette cogs. If you have a rear derailleur with an adjustable clutch, turn the clutch off to be able to articulate the rear derailleur.

Ensure the rear axle dropouts of the frame are aligned with the endcaps on the trainer, and that the chain is properly routed before reinstalling the rear axle and using your direct drive to prevent damage.

Ensure the rear cassette on your direct drive trainer is compatible with your bike's drivetrain to prevent damage. (E.g., you must use a 12-speed Shimano cassette with a 12-speed Shimano drivetrain and a 12-speed SRAM cassette with 12-speed SRAM drivetrains.)
