Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, OBED was born out of a passion for exploring the hard-to-reach routes that lead to breathtaking views. We believe one of the best ways to experience the outdoors is on two wheels. With our range of bikes, you can tackle tougher terrain, plan bigger expeditions, and discover new destinations.
Unforgettable Places
OBED is named for the Obed River, a gorgeous 45-mile-long river to our north. We love riding along the Obed River and exploring the backcountry here in Tennessee, but the world is full of many more incredible places. Some are close, but many are thousands of miles away. We started OBED to build bikes that can take us to all of the places we dream of riding. Because life is too short to leave them undiscovered.
Unrivaled Company
OBED began in 2019, but our story goes back much farther. The core OBED team has over 30 years of experience building some of the world’s most legendary titanium bikes and triathlon bikes. Our engineers have designed bikes that have gone on to win World Championships, Tour de France stages, and set IRONMAN bike course records. Here at OBED, they are making the bikes that they want to ride, for the adventures we all want to have.
